Tom Hardy’s Rap Album Released Featuring Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and Voice Acting as Bane
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Academy Award-nominated actor Tom Hardy, after years of stellar performances on the silver screen, has officially stepped into the rap world under the alias “Frankie Pulitzer” to showcase his musical talent.
Adopting his rap persona, Hardy released his debut official album titled Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, a 15-track project recorded in collaboration with the hip-hop group Czarface. The album features prominent guest appearances by Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and El-P, along with dynamic references to the works of William Shakespeare, the Marvel Comics universe, and Stephen King’s novels.
In the track “War With a Grim Face,” Hardy performs the famous “Winter of our discontent” monologue from Shakespeare’s Richard III using the iconic voice and cadence of his character “Bane”—the distinct tone he immortalized in the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises.
On the track “Always Raw,” a collaboration with Busta Rhymes, Hardy spits verses referencing Nicolas Cage’s character, Frank Pierce, from the 1999 Martin Scorsese film Bringing Out the Dead. He continues in the lyrics: “I’m something of a scientist myself, like Willem Dafoe; if you’re about it, you know, devouring crumbs like the Green Goblin.” He further declares victory on his path with an additional nod to the Marvel universe and the character Doctor Doom.
In the track “Crazy Tech,” featuring Method Man, Hardy weaves in several references to Stephen King’s catalog, including explicit nods to Kathy Bates in the 1990 film Misery as well as the novel Cujo.
It is worth noting that speculation had been swirling since 2021, when Czarface first began collaborating with an anonymous rapper named Frankie Pulitzer. Rumors suggested that the secret identity belonged to Tom Hardy—a fact that has now been officially confirmed with the release of this album.
